Arrival and the Dal Lake shikara
We pick you up at Srinagar airport. In the afternoon, an hour on Dal Lake by shikara, then the terraced Mughal lawns of Shalimar Bagh.

Day 01 · Srinagar
Land and float on Dal Lake
Airport pickup, an hour by shikara past the houseboats, then Shalimar Bagh.
Day 02 · Sonamarg
The meadow of gold
Up the Sindh valley to glaciers and pine slopes, back for dinner in Srinagar.
Day 03 · Gulmarg
Snow and the gondola
Phase 1 of the gondola is included, all the way up to the snowline.
Day 04 · Pahalgam
Apples and cricket bats
Willow-bat workshops, apple orchards and the Lidder river.
Day 05 · Old Srinagar
Shrines, gardens, Lal Chowk
Hazratbal, Shankaracharya hill, Chashma Shahi and the clock tower market.
Day 06 · Airport
Breakfast, then fly home
One last breakfast and the drop at Srinagar airport.

Day 2 · Sonamarg
Sonamarg, the meadow of gold
A day trip up the Sindh valley to glacier-fed meadows and pine slopes, back to our Srinagar guesthouse for the night.
Zojila Pass (Zero Point) is extra. We can arrange it for you.
Day 3 · Gulmarg
Gulmarg and the gondola
After breakfast we drive to Gulmarg. Your first-phase gondola ticket is included, on one of the highest cable cars in the world.

Day 4 · Pahalgam
Pahalgam and the apple valley
Through saffron country to Pahalgam: a Kashmiri cricket-bat workshop, apple orchards and the Lidder river from the photo point.

Day 5 · Srinagar
Shrines, gardens and Lal Chowk
A full day in the city: Hazratbal Dargah on the lake shore, the hilltop Shankaracharya temple, Chashma Shahi spring, Jama Masjid and the Lal Chowk markets.
